Zinc Carbonate Basic powder can be used as a skin protective agent in medical applications. Zinc carbonate is an ingredient in many astringent medical products, as well as calamine lotion. It is used in the production of transparent rubber and latex products, and in the foaming agent EVA due to its refractive index, which is similar to that of rubber. It can be used as a primary raw material during rayon production, as a desulfurizing agent in the chemical fertilizer industry, and for catalyst production. Zinc carbonate can also be used to produce rubber soles for shoes, rubberized plastic products and accessories, pipe fittings, rubber plates, motorcycle tires, belts, rubber bands, ZPT, zinc stearate, etc.
During industrial oil drilling operations, basic zinc carbonate reacts with H2S to form ZnS, which is stable and insoluble. Notably, mud slurry performance is not affected after adding basic zinc carbonate to mud, so adding zinc carbonate can help to effectively eliminate pollution and corrosion due to H2S, and can also be used as a corrosion inhibitor and sulfur removal agent during H2S processing in oil and gas wells.
